How to Check UP Traffic E-Challan Status Online?
It is important to track your challan status to know whether your payment has been processed or not. Here are two ways to check challan status in UP:
Method 1: Check UP e-Challan Status Via the UP Traffic Police Website
- Firs,t visit to UP Traffic Police e-challan website.
- Here, click on the “Click Here to View Online Challans” option.
- It will lead you to the “Know your Pending e-Challan/Blacklist Details” page.
- Here, enter your registration number, and captcha code.
- Then, click on Show Details button.
- All your pending details will be displayed on your screen.
Method 2: Check UP e-Challan Status Via Parivahan Sewa Portal
- Go to the official website of Parivahan Sewa.
- Here, click on Online Services>e-challan.
- Now, click on “Check Online Services” option available on the main menu.
- A drop down menu will open, here click on the “Check Challan Status” option.
- It will lead you to another page, here enter all the required details.
- Enter the captcha code.
- Click on the Get Details button.
- All the challan details available for that vehicle number/DL number will display on your screen.
How to Pay Uttar Pradesh Traffic E-Challan Online?
If you have received a traffic e-challan in UP, you must pay it within the stipulated due date to avoid penalties. There are multiple options to pay UP traffic e-challan online:
Method 1: Pay E-Challan Via UP Traffic Police Website
- Go to the UP Traffic Police website https://uppolice.gov.in/
- Click on the “Janhit Sevayen/Citizen Services” option available in the main menu.
- Then a list of services will open, here, click on the Traffic Directorate Portal option.
- Now, click on the “Click here for view and pay online challan” option.
- It will lead you to the Challan Details page.
- Here, select any one of the radio buttons in front of Challan Number/Vehicle Number/DL Number.
- Then, enter the respective Challan Number/Vehicle Number/DL Number.
- After that, enter the Captcha Code and click on “Get Details” button.
- Then, view your UP e-challans and select the preferable payment option.
- Complete your payment through credit/debit card, netbanking or UPI
- After that, download the receipt/acknowledgment as proof.

Method 2: Pay Uttar Pradesh E-Challan Via Parivahan Sewa Portal
- Go to the Parivahan e-Challan website (https://echallan.parivahan.gov.in/) in your web browser.
- Locate the ‘Pay Online‘ button or link, typically found in the top-right corner of the webpage.
- On the payment page, you’ll be presented with options to search for your e-challan using either the Challan Number, Vehicle Registration Number, or Driving License Number.
- Choose one of the available search options and enter the corresponding details in the provided field.
- You’ll be asked to enter a captcha code as a security measure.
- Once you’ve entered all the required information, click on the ‘Get Details‘ option to retrieve your e-challan details.
- The website will display a list of any pending e-challans associated with the information you provided.
- Review the e-challan details carefully and select the one(s) you wish to pay.
- Proceed with the payment process by choosing a suitable payment method, such as net banking, debit/credit card, or UPI.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the payment transaction.
- After successful payment, be sure to download or save the payment receipt or acknowledgment as proof of your e-challan payment.
